To revolutionize the development, production, and marketing of bio-based plastics for staple fibers Fiberpartner has entered an exclusive partnership with Pond Global A/S, Aarhus C/Denmark.
With this collaboration, Fiberpartner ApS, Vejle/Denmark, aims to offer a bio-based alternative to traditional polyester fibers. During the 2nd half of 2023, the company will introduce a diverse range of fibers, including solid and bicomponent (bico) fibers, that can be seamlessly bonded to natural fibers. These innovative products will possess qualities such as softness, touch, elongation, and tenacity like polyester fibers.
Moreover, these bio-based plastics will make a significant contribution to reducing the CO2 footprint, enabling a more sustainable future. These materials are not only biodegradable but also home compostable, allowing for a return to nature.
