Partnership with Thai Acrylic Fibre
FibreTrace has announced a partnership with one of the world's top 5 acrylic fiber manufacturers, Thai Acrylic Fibre (TAF), part of Aditya Birla Group. TAF has integrated FibreTrace technology into its Regel recycled fiber production for a more transparent manufacturing process.
This gives the recycled fiber a 'digital passport' that traces its journey across all production stages, from fiber, yarn, fabric, garment and beyond. The technology by FibreTrace, Singapore, uses a luminescent, transparent and non-toxic identification marker embedded at the raw fiber stage. Similar to a hidden barcode embedded directly into the fiber itself, this invisible marker remains in the fiber through every stage of production - whether it’s being dyed, spun into yarn, or turned into a finished garment. At any point along the way, it can be scanned to verify exactly where it came from, ensuring complete transparency from the factory floor to retail store.
